Mobility Unlocked for 26 Patients So Far!

Thanks to our Mobility Match Partners, a $10K match has already activated and another one is pledged at $30K.

Mobility is a Fundamental Human Right

Nine figure outlines all missing their right leg above the knee. A tenth figure is filled in with orange and has a prosthesis.

Yet, 90% of people who need prosthetic devices do not have access to this life changing technology. Even fewer receive quality, comprehensive, long-term care, and support. ROMP is changing that statistic one person at a time.

ROMP has 1,000 people waiting for their first prosthetic leg and the chance to walk again.

Range of Motion Project (ROMP)’s mission is to ensure access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people, improving their mobility and independence.

72% of ROMP patients return to work or school within one year of receiving prosthetic care and rehabilitation.

When you give the gift of mobility you help someone achieve their dreams.

Help People like Sherli and Aaron Walk Again

For someone in need of a prosthetic device, everyday tasks become unsurmountable challenges. You have the power to change that. Your gift doesn’t just provide a device—you’re offering someone the chance to pursue their dreams, support their family, and become active community members.

Sherli, a young woman with red hair and a right above-the-knee amputation is wearing a dress and a pink sweater. She places her right hand on her prosthetic knee and looks down at the prosthetic leg.

Meet Sherli, Step Forward for Mobility

A severe infection after a traffic accident caused 27-year-old Sherli from Santa Catarina Pinula, Guatemala, to lose her leg. For years, she struggled to regain her independence and relied on others for even the simplest tasks. Sherli dreamed of finding a job and pursuing an education, but her lack of mobility made those dreams seem unattainable.

Thanks to one of ROMP's incredible partners, whose identity we can’t wait to unveil this December, Sherli received a custom prosthetic leg that has transformed her life. She’s now walking independently and actively seeking a job to achieve financial stability for the first time. Beyond mobility, Sherli has rediscovered her sense of self-worth and ambition. She’s even considering going back to school to learn new languages. ROMP has given Sherli more than just a prosthesis—they have given her the ability to dream again and build a brighter future.

Aaron is a young man wearing a blue t-shirt and red shorts on a sports field. He is a left below-the-knee amputee wearing a running blade balancing on his right leg. Two people are watching him from behind.

Meet Aaron, Champion for Mobility

Seven years ago, Aaron injured his leg severely while working on a farm with his grandfather. The injury led to four years of painful surgeries and extended hospital stays. Ultimately, he decided to undergo amputation.

Although Aaron received a donated prosthesis, his family’s financial struggles prevented him from accessing proper care and long-term support. This left him with an ill-fitting prosthetic socket that has held him back from reaching his full potential. After waiting over over a year for a socket replacement, Aaron found ROMP and has gotten the quality care he was desperately hoping for.

With ROMP’s support, Aaron aims to regain full mobility and focus on his passion for athletics.  At just 20 years old, he plans to represent Ecuador in South American competitions and bring home a medal for his country.
