Volunteers play a key role in increasing capacity and exchanging knowledge in Guatemala and Ecuador.
We are seeking certified prosthetists, prosthetic technicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

Prepare to travel
In the months leading up to your trip we will provide you with all the information you need via email, a WhatsApp group, and a pre-departure call.

What types of volunteers are needed?
We are in most need of experienced prosthetists, technicians, and physical therapists. We review applicants from other disciplines or less experience case-by-case
What exactly do volunteers do?
Volunteers work alongside our local clinicians to evaluate, cast, and fit numerous patients. All patients have received pre-prosthetic care, and will receive post-prosthetic care.
When is the best time to volunteer?
Historically many volunteers apply to serve in the fall. While we need volunteers at that time, we encourage you to consider serving in the beginning or middle of the year to help level our capacity.
What are the costs involved?
Each volunteer is responsible for a program fee of $2,100 which covers all of their in-country costs like lodging, food, and transportation. They are also responsible for airfare.
