Alma DeMange

Alma DeMange is a “professional” stay-at-home homeschooling mom to her two youngest children. She is a graduate of California State University East Bay. She spends most of her time raising her family, homeschooling, and taxiing her children to every activity. In her spare moments, she enjoys painting, hiking, cooking and eating, taking lots of photos of everything, and volunteering with local community organizations in New Mexico.

She first heard about ROMP through a fellow Exosym user and, now friend, and participated in her first Mobility May on her team (Let's go Living Adaptive!). "I loved the impact and reach and values that I learned about ROMP and I knew I wanted to continue participating in helping them with their grand endeavors. As a person who has dealt with mobility challenges for over half of my life, I understand how powerful the gift of mobility truly is. It empowers, not only the individual impacted by mobility, but their family and loved ones. I want everyone to know that movement is for everyone and am excited to help increase awareness of ROMP’s mission at even the most hyper local level. I want everyone to know how meaningful the gift of mobility is"

Her favorite ROMP moment is participating in the 2024 Mobility May campaign, for her second year, and helping to assemble a team of Exosym and other device wearers, like herself. "Watch out for 2025, because I am planning to help build an even bigger team!"
