Climbing for ROMP

Climbing for ROMP 2023

Climbing for ROMP is the Range of Motion Project’s largest global campaign and fundraising event each year. The goal is to raise money to help people with amputation get prosthetic care and increase awareness around the unequal distribution of assistive devices globally. Since 2015, the initiative has raised over $670,000 to continue ROMP’s mission of providing high quality prosthetic care to those who cannot access it.

Throughout the month of September our global community is hitting the trails and tackling their "mountains" to help others gain access to prosthetic care. This is all leading up to our Climb Team heading to Ecuador on September 30th to climb Cayambe (18,996ft)!

Our goal is 33 climbs throughout the month for 33 years of the ADA and together we will raise $33,000. Together, with the 2023 Climb Team, we will raise over $150,000 to directly fund necessary prosthetic care for 100 patients.

Join the movement and #ClimbWithUs or donate! Conquer your climb to help others reach their summit.

We climb for fair access to care.

We climb for change.

We climb for ROMP.

Meet The 2023 ROMP Climb Team!

Each year, ROMP brings together a diverse team of athletes both adaptive and non-adaptive climbers to summit one of Ecuador's highest glacier covered volcanoes. This year our team is returning to Cayambe (18,996 ft) after 5 years on Cotopaxi. ROMP's athletes put in countless hours of training and collectively fundraise over $120,000 to achieve one mission: provide high-quality prosthetic care to those without access. Follow these amazing athletes along the way, support their climb, and/or sign up to climb in solidarity with the team.
