Bethany Brocco

Hello, my name is Bethany Brocco. I am originally from Waterloo Iowa. I am studying mechanical engineering at Iowa State University. I enjoy crocheting, playing instruments, riding my motorcycle, and staying active by hiking and paddleboarding in my free time. I support ROMP because their commitment to providing high-quality prosthetics to underserved communities is incredibly impacƞul. It gives people the chance to regain mobility, independence, and dignity—something everyone deserves. The work ROMP does directly changes lives, and I’m proud to contribute to that mission. My favorite ROMP moments are the moments of celebration and achievement the international volunteer team has after delivering a week's worth of prosthetics. Reflecting on the team and the people they worked with that week brings a lot of emotion to the conversation. It is heartwarming to be able to work with individuals who are excited to help people regain their mobility, and even better to see them all walk out the door.
