Kalaina Stroyan

Kalaina Stroyan is a CRM (cardiac rhythm management) clinical specialist in of Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Colorado State University with dual degrees in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering, and knew she wanted to work in a technology-focused clinical role. Outside of her work, she loves all things outdoors! Spends lots of time on the trails and in the mountains running, biking, and hiking.

She first got involved with ROMP during a study abroad trip in school, where she was volunteering at a ROMP clinic in Ecuador. She supports ROMP because of their dedication to bringing mobility for all - allowing people to stay involved in their communities and accomplish what they thought was impossible.

Her favorite ROMP moments are seeing patients take their first steps in their new devices and seeing their lives changed! It’s an incredibly inspiring experience to be involved in the process of people regaining their independence and mobility.
