Lucas Northway

Hi, my name is Lucas Northway and I am a second year Kennesaw State University Prosthetics and Orthotics student from Georgia. I am a member of ROMP’s 2025 Ambassador team and plan on using my passions of the prosthetics field to spread awareness and increase accessibility to high quality prosthetic care.

In my free time, I love to go hiking with my partner, play games of all kinds with friends, watch the Georgia Bulldogs, Falcons, and Braves. I also occasionally enjoy skateboarding, painting shoes, and woodworking.
Ever since I went on mission trips to Peru and Jamaica in my adolescence, I knew continuing to help others in need globally was something I never wanted to stop doing. There is a great need across countless nations for prostheses and I want to help give the gift of mobility back to those people one leg at a time.

My favorite ROMP moment was when I traveled outside of the country by myself for the first time in the summer of 2024. During this trip organized by ROMP, I not only met amazing friends who were volunteering with me, but I cherished the relationships I made with those we served. I will never forget the emotional experience of changing someone’s life forever by allowing them to walk again in the Quito clinic.
