ROMP Announces Sponsorship from Hanger Clinic to Support Their Mission

In an exciting new development, the ROMP has joined forces with Hanger Clinic, one of the United States’ leading providers of orthotic and prosthetic care. This sponsorship is a shared commitment to expanding access to life-changing prosthetic care for those who need it most. ROMP’s work is driven by the belief that mobility is not a luxury, but a human right.  Their latest collaboration with Hanger Clinic is set to fuel that mission even further.

One of our key focuses is in working together in 2024 is through the 10th Annual ‘Climbing for ROMP’ campaign. In its decade anniversary, the event invites individuals to scale literal and metaphorical mountains. Whether climbing a local peak or tackling personal challenges, participants raise awareness and funds for ROMP’s programs that provide prosthetic devices to underserved communities in Latin America. ‘Climbing for ROMP’ is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a powerful metaphor. Every step climbers take represents the obstacles amputees overcome every day, especially those in low-resource settings where prosthetic care is often inaccessible. The funds raised through this campaign will directly impact individuals in need, providing them with the tools to regain their independence and mobility.

Hanger Clinic’s involvement goes beyond financial backing; it represents a deep-rooted alignment in values. As a leader in the field of prosthetics, Hanger Clinic understands that prosthetic devices are not just functional tools, but lifelines to a more independent, empowered future. By supporting ROMP, they are helping ensure that more people, regardless of where they live or their economic situation, have access to these life-changing resources.

"We’re incredibly excited about Hanger Clinic’s support. Their dedication to high-quality care mirrors our mission to bring mobility and dignity to people around the world who face barriers in accessing prosthetic services.," says David Krupa, Executive Director of ROMP.

Moving forward, ROMP and Hanger Clinic will be working hand-in-hand to raise awareness, drive participation in ‘Climbing for ROMP,’ and ultimately ensure more people across the globe can take their next steps with confidence and dignity. For those interested in getting involved, ‘Climbing for ROMP’ is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself, while making a real difference in someone’s life. Whether it’s climbing a mountain or supporting others who do, there are plenty of ways to help ROMP and Hanger Clinic in their shared mission of restoring mobility and transforming lives.
