Alex Dahinten

Alex Dahinten is a prosthetist from Frankfurt, Germany but lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine with a degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics and is currently a clinical consultant with Andiamo Solutions. Alex is one of ROMP’s 2024 Ambassador team and plans on using his passions and experiences to grow adaptive outdoor opportunities and events in the southwest.

Apart from school, work, and being a ROMP ambassador, Alex enjoys anything outdoorsy, traveling the world and pickleball.

His ‘Why’: Sharing my passion for the outdoors, with anyone and everyone in the limb loss/ limb difference community. The world is such a beautiful place, and no one should feel limited in their ability to enjoy it.

Favorite ROMP Moment: Climbing Ruku Pichincha in Quito with the Climbing for ROMP team, and battling through tough conditions to make it to the mountain hut with my friends Reggie Showers and Zach McGowan. We were greeted with roaring applause by the rest of our team when we finally made it!
